AMIS, IL FAUT FAIRE UNE PAUSE
— PETITS COURS À L'USAGE DES SPECTATEURS DU 21ÈME SIÈCLE — JULIEN FOURNET

This mischievous exercise breaks down into 3 parts, like a soap opera for 21st century spectators featuring sections (like in any good soap) before, during, around, and after the show.
"Spectateurs de tous les pays, unissez-vous" (Spectators of the world, unite)
Class 1- During the performance (the thorny question of aesthetic experience)
"La culture, c’est dangereux "(Culture is a dangerous thing)
Class 2 – Around the performance (on the political function specific to a cultural event)
"Manifeste pour une nouvelle guilde des créateurs contemporains" (Manifesto for a new guild of creators)
Class 3 – Beyond the performance (prospects for the future in the form of a political science-fiction)
Therefore they are both self-contained and interrelated to form a cycle (unfolding in a logical, historical and narrative continuity). Also, each lecture is illustrated by one of Julien Fournet’s projects.
Production: l'amicale de production
Coproduction le phénix scène nationale Valenciennes, le Beursschouwburg - Bruxelles
Support : le Vivat, scène conventionnée danse théâtre d'Armentières.
Series of lectures supported and proposed by the Lieu Unique (Nantes)
PERFORMED LECTURES
A portable and functional lab in the form of regular events during which I will strive to present my research and build on my obsessions in a raw and dated style, that of the lecturer, which will inevitably make for a variety of games, digressions and jests.
3 QUESTIONS, 3 ONE-HOUR EVENTS TO LEARN HOW TO :
Engage in a form of artistic community-oriented tourism
Hunt down the intricate links between art, ethics and politics
Promote the reintroduction of kolkhoz into the performing arts
Though it is a series, each episode can be viewed separately.
